Bradford and Airedale Branch
GPs elected to the Bradford & Airedale LMC are appointed as Members of YORLMC Ltd (Bradford & Airedale Branch), the non-profit making organisation that carries out the majority of work undertaken by Bradford & Airedale and North Yorkshire LMCs.
The Bradford & Airedale Branch of YORLMC Ltd comprises up to 17 Members, representing more than 750 GPs, plus up to 6 persons co-opted to represent a particular class of experience not otherwise represented on the Committee such as practice managers.

GPs are represented through two locality constituencies
Locality – there are 11 seats in the Bradford Locality and 4 seats in the AWC Locality and these are open to Principals, Salaried & Locum GPs
GP Registrars – one seat for each of the 2 VTS schemes
Locality meetings take place bi-monthly, with the chairing of the meeting alternating between the AWC Locality Officer and Bradford Locality Officer (please see 2024 BAWC localiity meeting dates).
All GPs and practice staff in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale & Craven are invited to attend the local YORLMC Locality meetings. These meetings are an opportunity to meet with colleagues including YORLMC members and officers and discuss local matters with senior representatives from the ICB (Integrated Care Board) and hospital trusts.
Agenda items at these meetings include the chance to raise concerns about primary to secondary care shift, the opportunity to discuss with colleagues the practicalities of new services, updates from senior ICB staff and guest speakers presenting and taking questions on topical local matters.
YORLMC BAWC Officers also meet regularly with senior managers from the ICBs, NHS England, the Local Authority (Public Health), LRCs and Members from across BAWC meet bi-monthly.
