  • Congratulations to Old School Medical Practice York who have have received the silver standard for its Green Impact for Health project, issued by the Royal College of General Practitioners and the National Union of Students, by starting initiatives that make progress towards a greener and better primary care.  Read more about this in an article here from The York Press.

  • The name and fame page on Sustainable Practices York website provides examples of environmental practice successes within the Vale of York .  Their website also gives monthly environmental ideas for you to try in your practice.  
  • Sustainable Practices York have joined the wider network of local groups under the greenerpractice banner.  Other practices wishing to join and form a local group with the support of greener practice can find further information here 
  • Two local practices Old School Medical Practice, York and Horton Park Medical Practice Bradford are taking part in the Revolution Zero re-usable PPE trials.  Read some inital comments and feedback from Dr Rumina Önaç and Dr Maria Foulds on the progress of this initiative, here in an article from the YORLMC newsletter (May 2021 edition).
