- TA scheme for recycling medication blister packs has been launched in partnership with Aldi. Practices may wish to download the information to share with patients to encourage them to participate in this scheme. For more information please follow this link.

Inhalers - resources which practices may wish to share with patients
- Green Inhaler provides patient information about the carbon footprint of MDI’s. It also includes information about more environmentally friendly inhalers as well as recycling and safe disposal of inhalers.
- NICE has produced a patient decision aid to facilitate discussions about inhaler options.
- HNY ICB have created an an animated social media graphic here to help practices encourage patients to dispose of inhalers in a way which is kinder to the environment. You can use the animation on your Facebook and Twitter platforms with the message: "Please don't dispose of old or empty inhalers in household waste bins. Return them to community pharmacies so they can dispose of them in a way that is much kinder to the planet
