A course aimed at team leaders, nurse managers, reception managers, office managers who are new to leadership and those who have experience but would like to gain more skills.
Content includes the following topics:
Behaviour traits, learning styles and emotional intelligence
What motivates people
Management vs Leadership
Situational leadership and other leadership theories
Why and how teams are formed
How to build an effective team
Managing pressure and emotions (including a bit on time management)
Non-verbal communication, body language and making a great first impression
Listening and questioning skills
Dealing with difficult conversations
How to hold effective meetings
Presentations and slides will be available here after the event.
