About the urgent prescription for general practice
Since we launched Urgent Prescription for General Practice, the profession is still facing some of its toughest challenges, with workload and patient demand at unprecedented levels.
We continue to highlight these issues and provide advice and support for your practices on how to deal with them.
Our urgent prescription for general practice is:
- safe, manageable workload
- more time with patients
- increased practice funding
- more staff to support GPs
- less box ticking
We are highlighting the challenges and offering the solutions to government that we feel are necessary to address these issues.
