As Chair of the North Yorkshire & York Branch of YORLMC, Dr Sally Tyrer provides leadership of General Practitioners within the North Yorkshire and York area. She leads negotiation and liaison with stakeholders on behalf of the Branch and is also a Director of YORLMC Ltd.
Sally qualified as a GP in 2010 and is a partner at the Lambert Medical Centre in Thirsk . Prior to this she also experienced being a salaried GP and a locum. She has been an LMC member since 2014, and was elected as Chair in 2019, having also been Vice Chair for 15 months. She is also Clinical Director for Hambleton South Primary Care Network. Sally thoroughly enjoys representing local GPs / practices and is passionate about ensuring General Practice thrives especially during these interesting times! When not working, she is usually to be found immersed in her house renovation or walking the beautiful Moors.
