Since completing my GP training in 2014, I have been a GP Partner in Mayford House Surgery, Northallerton. Having seen the changes happening within General Practice, even in the short time I have been qualified, I was keen to join the LMC so I could be involved in the development of General Practice in the future. I am also a director for our local GP federation, Heartbeat Alliance.
I am excited to explore ways in which we can modernise the way primary care functions while maintaining the unique role GPs have in leading patient and community care.
